Girls Hostel was designed in a concept that's based on cuboidal geometry. The main focus while designing the hostel was to give it a home-like look for the girls.

Overview

The structure is based on the cuboidal concept. After entering the main gate, there appears a cantilever structure at the top.

An amphitheater area is also planned at one side of the structure. The building is constructed in such a way that reveals a layer-wise concept.

The concept was to design a composition of rectangular forms laid on odd shape sites.

Soul features

The exterior part was designed so that one could experience different levels by standing on a central plaza, which also acts as a multi-purpose area that is a point for interactive sessions, play area, etc.

Different levels consist of- Mezzanine.

The innovative use of conventional materials like stone & wood lends the building an exposure needed in domestic space, giving it an individual & independent flavor.
